The town of fergus, Ontrio has a wealth of stone buildings from the 1800s. This one in particular caught my eye for a number of reasons. 1] Because is stands all alone, although there may have been others beside it in time past. 2] Because it is built on a hill and it almost seems like the wing on the right was put there to prevent the taller portion on the left from toppling over. 3] It is full of nice architectural details.
